SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA will be rendering solutions for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it can be alarmed concerning the substantial amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the status sassa area regularly. The assistance level designed for intervention encounters a superior influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it complicated to the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to empower the servicing of all shoppers and raise entry to Social Assistance products and services,” SRD the agency said.
